This week we bring you Love in the time of COVID, an article from the August/September issue of the Purist, a Hamptons, New York-based publication edited by Cristina Cuomo. I am honored to have contributed observations to this excellent article written by psychiatrist and magazine contributor Leah Lis, MD.
Since March 2020, most of our lives have been turned upside down and then given a good shake as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has put new pressures on marital relationships. The Purist article addresses the challenges of the marital relationship during this peculiar, often treacherous time, and provides some guidelines from Dr. Lis concerning how to care for relationships as well as recognize the signs that a relationship has grown harmful. I hope you enjoy reading it.
